Galata Acquisition Corp.

Galata Acquisition Corp. ("Galata") was a blank check company launched in 2021 and organized for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, or reorganization or engaging in any other similar business combination with one or more businesses or entities.

On August 1, 2022, Galata announced the execution of a definitive business combination agreement with Marti Technologies Inc. (“Marti”), with the merger of the two companies subsequently closing in July 2023.  Today, Marti trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol MRT.
